Media Coverage | Run for Gold 2026 🎗️
We are honoured to see Run for Gold gaining strong media attention as the journey begins across Peninsular Malaysia. This remarkable initiative by cancer awareness advocate SG Lim will cover 2,200km over 90 days, starting on 28 March 2026 at the NCSM–MPPP Home of Hope, Penang, and travelling through all 11 states and federal territories before concluding on 22 June 2026.
The run is part of the Torch Relay for Relay For Life Malaysia 2026, carrying a powerful message of hope while raising RM600,000 in conjunction with NCSM’s 60th anniversary. Funds raised will support children with cancer through the Home of Hope, as well as psychosocial care and survivorship programmes for young patients and their families.
We sincerely appreciate the media for helping amplify this meaningful cause and bringing greater awareness to the cancer community.

Relay For Life 2025
Relay for Life Malaysia brings communities together to celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, remember those who have passed on, and raise vital funds for cancer prevention and support services.
Relay for Life Malaysia 2025 will consist a mix of events: a Torch Relay carrying the Relay Torch across different cities; a R(elay) Day event which will be a day event consisting of a Fun Run and other family fun activities; and a Luminaria night event celebrating people living with cancer. In 2025, Relay for Life Malaysia will be held in Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Johor and Melaka.
